Today is GreenBean’s last day at Gan (school). It is a bittersweet moment for us because, while I am looking forward to being a Stay at Home Ima to both him and Boo, I am sad that he will be leaving his friends and his teachers.

The owner/head teacher in particular has brought him out of his shell in ways we never imagined possible. He has never been a huge fan of people in general, always choosing to stay close to The Dad or I whenever possible — even with family, and so, to see him laughing, having fun, learning and actively participating has been so wonderful. I am forever in her debt.

A is such a beautiful soul, inside and out, and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for being a part of our Village. Thank you for nurturing our little Bologna and helping him grow into the happy, funny and smart boy he is today. He may have been a baby when he came to you, but today he is a little boy with the best start in life that we could have ever asked for.
