It has been awhile, hasn’t it? Let’s see… what have we been up to here? Well, we had Canada’s Wonderland passes last summer as well as this season, Peanut is graduating Senior Kindergarten and will be starting Grade 1 (Eek!) at a new school in September, GreenBean will be starting JK at a different school from his big brother (that is a whole other blog post), Boo finally got teeth around 18 months old (he’s 2 now!) and, hm, what else? Oh! That’s right! We had ANOTHER baby. Scout is, obviously, a boy and (we promise this time) our last baby. We’ve spent the last 3 months soaking up all of the yumminess and sleep deprivation that comes with a new baby. He is starting to show his personality and it is, for better or worse, exactly like his 3 big brothers. Boo has taken to Big Brotherdom like a champ; hugging and kissing and annoying Scout at all hours of the day (and night, ew).

The Dad and I became first time uncle and aunt this past November. We have a niece! A GIRL! Who knew the LAAJM family was capable of such offspring?! She is the light of our lives and her cousins adore her. Future boyfriends should worry, they should worry a LOT.

I decided recently that I’ve been silent long enough and that I should get back on the blogging train, mainly because I spend a CRAPLOAD of time situated on the couch, my girls being utilized by the newest animal in our brood. I have nothing BUT time these days. Well, in between breaking up fights, feeding the wildebeests, breaking up more fights, cleaning up after them and breaking up even more fights, that is. I’ve taken a long enough break, so if you’ve stuck around, waiting with baited breath, I’m sorry. I’ve been a bad friend. My goal is to make it up to you by blogging at least once a week. Let’s get reacquainted, shall we?
